Being born in Germany despite being British has given me, from birth, a large sense of not knowing what the fuck is going on. I always thought that it would get easier as I got older, but no.

I'm currently working towards an Art History degree with a view to becoming a primary school teacher because it's been my experience, from my son's primary school years, that they generally don't know what the fuck is going on either. This makes me think I would fit right in...

My husband is a technologist geek who has written books and jaunts around the world speaking at various conferences while I don't do anything of the kind and instead take care of *everything*.
