cravings

I like to think I am a girl of simple taste..

I haven't as you would expect craved wiered and wonderful foods during this pregnancy...

no my cravings have been slightly more obscure.... I am craving the day I can fit back into my collection of lovely comfy jeans!!!

(yes I collect jeans like some girls collect shoes)

I keep opening my wardrobe and there they are pitifully staring at me and wondering what it is they have done wrong that I am no longer interested in them. (especially now we are in flipflop weather - nothing nicer than a good pair of old jeans and flippies)

The truth is people my expanding waistline denotes that there is no way the two of us are going to get into those 'little lovlies' and believe me we have tried.... hard!

No instead I have been unfaithful and have been and bought a larger, not so nice pair of jeans that I have been having an illicit affair with for the last couple of months...

But even these have decided that they want more from this relationship and have decided that they just can't accommodate the two of us any longer!

But not to be beat, as we've only a month before 'mini-me' gets her own jeans, I have taken to wearing the illicit jeans obscenely!

Yes I am now proudly strolling down the high street with my buttons undone and zip open!!! the only thing preserving my modesty and preventing turning everyone into voyeurs is a bloody big belt.

However I feel I have no choice here folks as the alternative is .... Maternity Jeans!.....
NOOOOOO

they are just wrong... very unsexy and i really don't get the elastic stretchy bit....

clothes designers come on... just 'cos a girl is expecting doesn't mean she has to compromise on fashion!!!!

So heres to obscene jeans and flipflops :)
